Why am i doing this?
Well, to be honest, i just need to do something..
I love fashion and style, i know how to make cool websites like this one..
So i figured it would be a good idea to mash up those two passions // abilities to form something that will hopefully help me provide for my family..
Which is really the reason why I’m starting this now..
I wish i had started it years ago, even thought about it, but God has a plan..
And everything goes according to His timing..
So here I am, starting a fashion // styling blog at 30 years old..
Because I have a family now, and i gotta get serious about my life..
Yea it’s time to get serious..
See my issue was always starting something… then starting something new not long after..
So i never saw anything through to completion, or to a point of actually getting the benefits of my work..
But that is stopping, I am saying this publicly here, this blog is what i will do from now on.. no stopping.. no switching projects.. this is it.
Because, honestly, i need to just pick one thing and do it..
So this is what i’m choosing to do.
So what are my intentions with this blog // styling marketplace?
- Share real fashion — not the over-the-top pop fashion, but every day fashion, things real people wear.. and just fashion that i like..
- Help everybody find their style and embrace it and know it — thru our tools and stylist marketplace, anyone can understand their style better and ultimately feel better about their wardrobe and their looks.. which brings me to the last intention..
- Help people improve their confidence and their self-worth — fashion : the clothes we wear, and the styles we choose to express, dramatically impact the way we feel about ourselves, especially in public settings… if you don’t feel good about what you are wearing, you won’t feel good in general.. and vice versa.. so by helping people improve or understand their style better, ideally we will be helping people FEEL better about themselves.. and that is very important.
So yea, that’s pretty much what this blog and brand is all about..
